Fantastic forest trails and plenty of benches and rest areas. Especially recommended in the summer heat, as the area is very wooded.

The entry into our small spontaneous Ahrquellenrunde enchanted us immediately. Crystal clear spring water cools the forest path pleasantly and the babbling of the brook, which later becomes one of the most beautiful Eifel rivers, dominates the howling of the motorbikes in the distance.
Unfortunately, the path soon turns into a very well-developed bike path, which we left a little later to continue our round in / through the undergrowth.
You have to stop by the Blankenheim ice cream parlor! A very exotic but stunningly delicious selection of sweet delicacies :)

As soon as you leave the town, the path along the stream is so beautiful. Unfortunately, the Ahrsteig then continues along farm tracks for a while.
