산악자전거 라이딩
These two ponds directly on the Ilmradweg, the so-called Brewery Ponds, were originally created by the brewery of the manor Heydenreich for ice production. But they lost after the introduction of machine cooling this function for the brewery operation. At the end of their use by the brewery, the two ponds and their shores developed into valuable habitats for amphibians, birds and aquatic insects. Among them are several endangered species to find. Due to the importance of the ponds for the plant and animal world, the brewing oaks were already protected in 1975 as a surface natural monument.
