In the past, a lot of grain was grown in this region, which was brought to the mill by boat and processed.
Fish, especially lamprey, were also caught here. The trap was built from reeds and oleander stalks next to the water dam of the existing mill. The mill was dismantled in the 1990s. Today, all that remains on the site are the ruins of the old canal mill and the memory of fishermen who nostalgically recall the times when the river provided food.
