The Arctic Fox Center combines a research center with a café and exhibition. Located in the municipality of Súðavík in Iceland's Westfjords, the center focuses on the Arctic fox (Vulpes lagopus), the only naturally occurring land mammal in Iceland. Some local residents established the center as a non-profit organization in 2007.
The Arctic Fox Center is open from May 1 to October 31. In May, September and October you can visit it from 9 am to 4 pm. In June, July and August it is open until 6 pm.
