The trail follows the creek. It's a pleasant section to hike on.

Most of the trail is along the bank of the creek, but at one point there is a switchback that takes you higher up the hill so that you're looking down on the creek. If you miss the switchback, you end up skirting boulders along the creek and eventually have to climb the hill to rejoin the path. Learn from my fail.
