The settlement lay southwest of Tachov (note translator: Tachau) between St. Knížecí Huť (note translator: Alt Fürstenhütte) and Jedlina (note translator: Neu Losimthal). It was only founded at the end of the 18th century.

In 1921 there were 29 properties in the municipality, in which 204 residents (of German nationality) lived. After the Second World War and the expulsion of the original German inhabitants, the Háje settlement was no longer inhabited. So far only three houses have remained from the settlement, which are used for recreation.
