The currently young and small mountain sequoia tree was donated by Project Mammutbaum e.V. and planted here on October 9, 2011 on the occasion of the 10th meeting of sequoia tree friends in Schotten.
Let us hope that it continues to grow and thrive here for many more years and that it survives for several generations of us humans.
