The waterfall is quite difficult to reach as it is located at the end of the canyon. You will need to scramble a narrow passage along the river and a (small) waterfall, so you shouldn't be afraid to get wet feet. The Nautúsagil waterfall is well worth the effort and, as opposed to the neighboring Seljalandsfoss, it was very quiet with little to no tourists.

Great trail! You have to hang on chains in places. After a rainy day, wet feet are inevitable. It's better to wear waterproof shoes or even bathing shoes. You definitely need to be sure-footed on the trail
