Founded in the 14th century, Baroque in the 18th century. It is well furnished, the early baroque main altar from 1637 is valuable. The vault of the church is covered with baroque paintings depicting the life of St. Lawrence and other saints. The church is part of a nature reserve. Unfortunately not open, but the cemetery with old graves can be visited.
Among them is the rugged Slavic fortress on Svatovavřinecký vrch, which was the largest of its kind in western Bohemia. Its area was about 13 hectares. The inner part - the Acropolis - had a circular shape and was protected by three lines of ramparts and moats, which are still clearly visible today.
Hradiště was founded at the beginning of the 9th century and was inhabited until the end of the 12th century. It was strategically located on the Regensburger Weg, which was the most important connection between Bohemia and Bavaria in the early Middle Ages.
In the area of the castle there is an early Gothic church from the second half of the 14th century, the neighboring cemetery is even older, it was laid out in the 11th century.
