The town hall of Mézières dates from the seventeenth century. During the First World War, a large part of Mézières was destroyed by several heavy bomb attacks. The town hall was not spared. The reconstruction of the building started a few years after the war. In 1933 the renovated building was opened and put into use. The town hall of Mézières is one of the two town halls in the municipality due to the municipal merger of Mézières and Charleville.
