The history of FC Bayern's home stadiums is long; most fans are familiar with the Grünwalder Straße stadium, the Olympic Stadium, and, of course, the Arena. After FC Bayern's early years with games on Clemensstraße, Schyrenwiese, or Theresienwiese, the Leopoldstraße stadium was an important milestone for FC Bayern and football in Munich!
From 1907, our Bavarians played there under the umbrella of the Munich Sport Club (MSC), to whom we also owe our club colors of red and white – right in the center of today's Munich on Leopoldstraße, near Parzivalplatz.

Munich's first football stadium with grandstand - home of the M.S.C.
FC Bayern won the opening game on September 15, 1907 8-1 against Wacker Munich. From 1906 to 1919, FC Bayern Munich was affiliated with the Munich Sport Club (MSC) as a football department (FA Bayern) and played its home games here until 1924.
