Zephyros beach (also Zefyros beach or or Zefiros beach) is situated on the northeast side of the island, at the city entrance as you arrive from Faliraki and Kalithea, close to the new Marina of Rhodes.
Zephyros is very easily accessible by any means, including bus, taxi or bicycle. This beach is sandy and not affected by eastern or northern winds, thus it is usually calm and offers the opportunity to enjoy moments of relaxation. The water is shallow, thus making it suitable for children, and you will also find a floating child playground for your youngsters to enjoy themselves.
The location of Zephyros is also a nice place for a quick jump in the water before lunch, as this area of Rhodes is famous for its excellent fish and meat restaurants, which can be found just across the street and are also favored by the locals. You can also visit the Marina, where you will find some excellent cafeterias.
Finally, there is also an open street market in the area every Wednesday and Saturday where you can buy fresh vegetables and fruits.
