On the stretch out of San Simone, a few tens of meters from the pedaled route, it is interesting to turn your gaze towards the imposing convent of Santa Teresa, built starting from 1923, perched on the slopes of the Salento greenhouses and clearly visible from afar. It is still today the seat of Carmelite nuns.
