The old war memorial at "Bockhorns" is a registered monument in Wehe next to the post mill and was erected in 1921. The ceremonial inauguration took place on May 15, 1921, the first day of Pentecost. On the sides are stone slabs on which stand the soldiers of Woe who died in the wars of 1870-71 and the First World War of 1914-18. Originally there was a bronze eagle with flapping wings on top, but this has disappeared over the years. In 2000, on the initiative of the comradeship of former soldiers, the memorial was equipped with a new granite eagle. A further redesign and renovation took place, also initiated by the comradeship of former soldiers Wehe in 2014.
