Kamačnik cut its gorge into the massif of Velika Kapela and flows into the river Dobra, collapsing into a small waterfall, since at the entrance to the canyon it is divided by a gap and a lake. The source of the Kamačnik is typically karst, with water reaching the source from a submerged cave channel.
