    The famous Gailtaler Almkäse cheese is made on the Rudnig Alm. Only on the 13 member altars is the delicious, traditional cheese. The cheese is obtained exclusively from the raw milk of mountain cows in summer. For a hearty snack, you can convince yourself of the unique taste.

      At the Rudnig Alm there are both drinks and a small menu with e.g. Kaiserschmarrn, bacon dumpling soup, cheese vespers, etc. You can also buy fresh butter and Gailtaler Alm cheese.

        A new tenant has recently started offering delicious Gailtal cheese, yoghurt, butter and homemade syrups. Since the tenant's little daughter also lives on the mountain pasture, there is plenty of fun and games for children. Highly recommended!!!

                  The Rudnig Alm is rustic. It's a mountain pasture with animals, with chickens roaming between the tables. Cheese is produced there. We tried it during an alpine snack. It's delicious!
