The Altenstein Castle Park is a spacious park that surrounds the castle.
The paths laid out here follow the mountainous terrain, they lead through near-natural forest areas and past rugged rock formations. Productions with small architectures such as the Chinese house, the flower basket rock, the knight's chapel or the devil's bridge are encountered again and again. They go back to around 1800, when the facility was designed according to the then modern idea of a sentimental landscape park. Later, the famous garden artist Hermann Fürst von Pückler-Muskau gave suggestions for the redesign.

Very beautiful and well-kept grounds. The flowerbeds right next to the castle are almost like works of art.
