The hike through this gorge or stream valley is very interesting. At this point, a wooden walkway with an interesting construction was built into a narrow place between the rocks and over the stream. Bit of the impression of a path through a gorge ... Interesting place!

A completely enchanted path always leads along the stream and often this has to be crossed over thick stones. The small stream is lined on both sides by steep rock walls that are overgrown with green climbing plants like a jungle and from which lianas hang down. Again and again there is only a narrow path between the steep rock faces, sometimes over bridges. Definitely worth seeing.

Luxembourg is definitely worth visiting more than once. Great rock formations and gnarled trees that grow on stone and embrace the rocks with their roots, moss in the most beautiful shades of green ... Along the course of the stream to the aforementioned rock formations that tower up into the air. Definitely one of the most beautiful tours I've done in my life. I highly recommend hiking on the MullerthalTrail 😊

This boardwalk leads between rocks and over a small watercourse. Although it is only a few meters long, I still find it a very nice element of the hiking trail.

Here you can find a huge number of "cairns". These cairns are called "Stoanerne Mandln" in South Tyrol.

A very beautiful wild romantic gorge where the path goes back and forth in the river bed. It goes through beautiful rock formations until you reach the Hohllay a few meters higher. This is a rock hollowed out by the Romans with interesting circular scrapes that come from the fact that they scratched out round millstones there.

The wooden walkway is now labeled "Chipkapass".
The names are reminiscent of strategic points in the Crimean War and come from Dutch soldiers who were stationed in Echternach.

The former bridge construction on the Chipka Pass was washed away by the heavy rainfall and the resulting flooding in June 2018.

With a clear height of 1.50 meters, the new bridge, which is around 38 meters long, is flood-proof.
