Along the Ruhr without traffic, you can enjoy a unique landscape with your bike or on foot. The Wasserbahnhof Mülheim and the old town of Kettwig are just two of many places where you can linger. I can only recommend a trip by bike and boat.

The Ruhrwehr Duisburg is located on the Ruhr 2,626 km before it flows into the Rhine. The Ruhr, the Ruhr Shipping Canal and the Rhine-Herne Canal are connected in the waterway network of Duisburg. From the Rhine you can travel upstream and downstream via the Ruhr and the Duisburg Ruhr lock located here, as well as via the harbor canal and the Meiderich lock.
