The curiosity about the small settlement of Wilischthal - this is where the Wilisch flows into the Zschopau - is that it belongs to 3 communities (the city of Zschopau and the communities of Amtsberg and Drebach); the "Wilischthal" stop of the Zschopautalbahn (Flöha–Vejprty) as a former gauge-changing station is the starting and ending point of the former narrow-gauge railway Wilischthal–Thum (Thumer Netz), of which the imposing truss bridge over the Zschopau still bears witness;

Starting point of the Wilisch Cycle Path (usually on the planum of the narrow-gauge railway) via Gelenau, Spinnerei Venusberg, Herold and Thum to the Greifensteine area;
