The pine tree is so named because several of the episodes of the famous series by Félix Rodríguez de la Fuente, "Man and the Earth", were filmed in its vicinity.

The tree was planted in honor of Felix Rodriguez de la Fuente's famous series. Some episodes of the series were filmed here. He was a Spanish naturalist, director and documentary filmmaker, more information here:
