Located along the Marne-Rhine Canal, the small town of Saverne borders Alsace and Lorraine. From here, you can easily reach Strasbourg via the riverside cycle paths. Don't miss the Rohan Castle, the "Little Versailles of Alsace," with its imposing pink sandstone walls. Today, it houses a youth hostel, among other things.

And in the middle of it all, there's a harbor and a lock. Saverne is good for a stroll. I really enjoyed it.

You just have to enjoy Saverne. It's beautiful here; I always enjoy coming back. The town has a pleasant atmosphere.
