The Flåm Railway Museum gives you an insight into the building of one of Europe's steepest railway lines, the technical challenge and the people behind these impressive engineering works.
On show in the museum are an authentic El 9 locomotive, an old electric shunting engine, a number of rail inspection trolleys and different exhibitions with text, image, sound and objects. You can also experience a trip on the Flåm Railway video.

The Flambahn is clearly recommended. The wild nature and the waterfalls are a dream. You have to book early and be lucky that not several cruise ships have docked. We went there twice to get a ticket. But it's worth it!
