The Zugspitzplatt can be visited by descending the dangerous scree slope, or with the Gletscherbahn, which runs between the Zugspitze and the Kaarst landscape almost 400 meters below, from which the cog railway then continues to Garmisch.

When climbing the Zugspitze, think carefully about whether to continue, we had a snowstorm at the end of September and luckily we were able to take the gondola to the Zugspitze. In this way, the part of the route that has already been described as more dangerous is avoided and shortened.
