Like the western geological trail, the eastern geological trail begins and ends in Wilhelmshall.
It passes outcrops at the Huys uplift zone, as well as gypsum outcrops which in the past formed the basis for several gypsum works. The Daneils Cave near Röderhof, which was created by glacial processes, is located roughly in the middle of the route of the 13 km long circular route.
It goes past the Kalischacht Mönchhai, where salt layers were mined down to depths of 500 m.
Similar to the western geological circular route, there is detailed information about the QR codes that can be viewed at the stations.
