Not overcrowded yet and especially popular with families! Small boats and yachts & beautiful Baltic Sea!
In the summer months, the lighthouse is sometimes opened for a tour. From the top you have an excellent view of the small harbor and the Baltic Sea!

he Timmendorf-Poel lighthouse marks the entrance to Wismar Bay and is one of two larger lighthouses on the island. The Timmendorf lighthouse was put into operation on October 1, 1872 and increased by 3.6 meters in 1931 to its current height of 21 meters.
