      I was pleasantly surprised by the Lonau waterfall. The waterfall is located in the northeastern urban area of Herzberg. , about 130 m above the confluence of the Lonau and the Sieber.
      From Lonauer Strasse turn into Hüttuferstrasse and there is a small car park on the right-hand side just behind the bridge. From there, a few steps lead to the waterfall. He falls in a real relatively deep gorge, with a decent roar. From there you can go on a circular route that u.a. leads to the confluence of the Lonau and Sieber. further to the Hammerhütte, now a paper mill. I decided to go to Lonau. The way of D. Hammerhütte is quite high to the road.
