          4FACHWERK presents art exhibitions, readings and much more in the premises of the former Freudenberg City Museum. 4FACHWERK does not just show art, but also invites people to take part in active cultural activities.

          In January 2014, the 4FACHWERK Mittendrin Museum association was founded, which aims to preserve and develop the city museum in the half-timbered house at Mittelstrasse 4 as the center of Freudenberg. The house has now become a lively meeting place for art, culture and history.

          A "Mittendrin Museum", a house for art, history, creativity and tradition, has been created on 4 floors in 4 areas as a place where you can discover local (building) history in the middle of the old town and gain a taste for and understanding of the immediate surroundings.

          The four areas include a gallery for art exhibitions, a workshop for your own creativity, a room for the city's history and a place for the fascinating exhibits of former Siegerland watchmakers.
