The summit of Tverfjell is about 800 meters southwest of the pass over which the main road leads. It is worth taking a short detour there, because in addition to the once again magnificent view, another highlight awaits you there: the Snøhetta lookout point. The small architectural masterpiece is located a little more than a kilometer west of the summit and in summer offers a sheltered place to rest from wind and weather with a panoramic view of Svånåtindan and Snøhetta - with a little luck, a warming fire will even burn in the fireplace. Opening times: In summer from the summer solstice. Closed in winter.
