    I can't stress enough how much this dead is worth the trip right to the very end of the tarmac where is meets the dirt road on the northern edge of Loch Mullardoch. The views as you crest the side of the dam wall at lock mullardoch were probably the most sensational of my whole trip to Scotland (and that's saying something). Being the lesser known neighbour to the adjacent road up Glen Affric, this road is incredibly quiet and it seems to be a well known secret. There are also a huge number of MTB friendly tracks that come off of this road which need to be explored!

      single track road winding up The Valley to the dead end at the dam. Both times I have ridden this road it’s been a perfect bluebird day and it’s hard to beat for a day out on the bike.
