The Grotta dei Millenari witnesses the history of the Ostuni landscape, and the first men who lived there. Immediately in front of the cave it is still possible to find small flints and some shards of the Neolithic age scattered in the ground, some fragments of which have the typical nail decoration used in the ancient Neolithic (VI-VII millennium BC). Furthermore, in the heart of the cave there is a small artificial circular cavity in the ground, probably used as a hearth.
