The Encherada slope is one of the official mountain bike routes on La Gomera. The beautiful route always leads along the mountain through varied vegetation. Always accompanied by a fantastic view, you can't help but be amazed. Sometimes it's San Sebastian, sometimes a beautiful valley and of course the Hammer Bilck towards Tenerife on the Teide. Spain's highest mountain is in view most of the time.
The route itself leads first over asphalt and then over gravel, sand and stone slopes. Towards the end it gets a little rough and a little travel and the right tires pay off. I would definitely recommend heading to Hermigua. The other way around, you would have to climb the steep slope over the stone slope, here pushing would probably be the order of the day.
