The Cala Francese beach is located along the west coast of the island of La Maddalena in Gallura, located in the archipelago of the same name in north-eastern Sardinia.
It is a rather wide beach, with various small coves and small beaches, mainly rocky, although in the southern part of the cove there is a small beach made up of light, compact and medium-grained sand, with the presence of some small smooth pebbles, and two cliffs that delimit it protecting it at the same time, from the winds. The northern part of the cove is perhaps the most fascinating, with the beautiful granite cliff that partially encloses it and protects it from the north winds. The crystalline sea has a deep seabed, with the presence of some rocks, but it is mainly sandy. It has heavenly colors, with an intense turquoise and blue that make this place a truly fascinating natural swimming pool. The whiteness of the granite, the green of the Mediterranean scrub and the beautiful colors of the sea make it one of the most beautiful beaches in La Maddalena.
