What's special about the Possmanns, apart from good Äppler, is the submarines in the cellar 🍎🗑️🍏 After the end of the war, the Possmann winery managed to buy three German submarines for its cellar. They had been built at the Osthafen and had never fired a shot. They were converted into storage barrels and each of them holds 418,000 liters.
