A first ossuary, the remains of which are preserved in the masonry of the choir, is mentioned in 1368 at its current location. The small quarry stone building with a converted attic from 1907 stands on a barrel-vaulted cellar. The rectangular hall building has a choir closed on three sides in the east. On the south side, a single-flight staircase leads to the pointed arch portal. Under the stair landing, a cellar neck leads into the vault. The pointed arch windows are from the late medieval construction period, the rectangular windows on the north side are from a later conversion.

Throughout its history, the building has served as a malt kiln, a warehouse and a gymnasium. Today the city archive is located in the former ossuary.

The late Gothic chapel was built in 1368 and rebuilt in 1510.
The barrel vault inside is used to store the bones from the old cemetery. The ossuary has also been a city archive since 1982.
