The Golden Cape is only a few minutes away from the center of Rovinj and definitely worth a visit.

From the beach Lone in the direction of the old quarry, which today gives sport climbers great pleasure. The nearest cafe is just on the beach Lone or on the neighboring beach Golden Bay. The Golden Cape is ideal for lovers of wild rocky beaches.

In the forest park Golden Cape many different, indigenous and newly planted plant species grow. The Himalayan cedars (Cedrus deodara), Mediterranean cypresses (Cupressus sempervirens) and pines (Pinus pinea) are planted to form a hexagonal star. There are meadows surrounded by Douglas firs and columnar Mediterranean cypress trees (Cupressus sempervirens var.pyramidalis). Apart from Aleppo Pine (Pinus halepensis), Calabrian Pine (Pinus brutia) and other pines, there is also an autochthonous species of holm oak (Quercus ilex) with Mediterranean elements.
