The stone or stones come only in prolonged drought and thus in extreme low water to light. The hunger stones then reveal old seasons (from the 14th century), when the population was starving due to the drought.
Some data and inscriptions are difficult to recognize. The Deciner Hungerstein is one of the oldest hydrological monuments on the Elbe! Jokers have now also marked the stones with newer date numbers.
There is also a memorial stone on the stone. Looking up from there you can still see a colored, Czech flag in the rock face!
