Access to the cave is via a few iron steps. Even from the outside it looks impressive. We visited the 1st part of the cave ending at the Event de Courcalhère. There is also the entrance to the second part of the cave, which we made up to the point where you would have to walk through the water (later there will be a lake that you have to cross with the boat). Altogether we are - accompanied by a knowledgeable person - about 1.2 km into the cave. It is almost impossible to get lost in the cave as there are hardly any branches. Nevertheless, it can quickly become dangerous in uncertain weather conditions. Most of the time you can walk upright. There are only a few passages where you have to bend over quite a bit.

At the entrance you have to climb about 3 meters, then the cave passage is quite horizontal. After a few hundred meters you reach the Aven de la Courcalhère. Here you can leave the cave at the top if you can climb well.
Up to here the cave is quite dry. At the other end of the day sinkhole (A. Courcalhère)
the cave passage continues but becomes more loamy and wetter. The end of the cave
is the blocked access to the Cocaliere show cave.
