The Church of the Holy Father Nikolaj (May 22) is located at 4 Brđanska Street in Surduk. It was built in 1816 thanks to the efforts of uncle Vasilija Nikolajević, who provided the west door with marble. In the same year, the marble for the southern and northern entrances was bought by merchants Petar Vujević and Jovan Savić. The plaque of honor was donated in 1818 by Marija Vujević, wife of Petar Vujević. The church in Surduk is a single-nave building with a semicircular altar apse on the east side and a bell tower on the west side. It is covered with a gable roof. The facades are structured by a high base, pilasters, between which there are gradually drawn-in niches and a profiled attic wreath.
