Very worth seeing Friemersheim village church, which was rebuilt after severe damage in the Second World War. All that remained of the original church were the outer walls, the tower and a few columns.

The church has an eventful history: The oldest mention of a chapel is from 1147. The current church dates back to 1487. In 1907 the church was rebuilt - initially without a tower, which was added in 1916. After severe damage in World War II, it was rebuilt again from 1946.

The village church is the oldest church in Friemersheim. At first there was only a chapel on this site, which belonged to the Imperial Abbey of Werden. The earliest documented mention of it was around 1147 AD. The chapel was dedicated to St. Martin.
