The Roman Theater of Malaga is the archaeological remains of the theater of ancient Malacca and the most important preserved remnant of the Roman presence in Malaga. It is located in the historic center of the city, at the foot of the Alcazaba hill. The Roman theater was built in the SI in the time of Augustus and continued to be used as a theater until the 3rd century. It was only rediscovered in 1951 after which the remains were uncovered.
