Access to the park. It's true that it belongs to the local community and they have the right to restrict access, so they charge a fee, but if insecurity persists during the week (sometimes on weekends too), people will continue to disagree with the fee.
Furthermore, corruption and abuse lie behind the story of the Desierto de los Leones National Park. Community elders say it was sold twice to the government, and parts of it were never handed over to the National Park. They continue to belong to the community members who profit from the park.
