During his reign, Emperor Napoleon Bonaparte traveled several times from Paris to Mainz. On one of his business trips he crossed the Wiesbach near Welgesheim. The trail is marked by a snuff box, which played a major role in Napoleon's appearance in Welgesheim. The signs along the way reveal which ones. On the family-friendly circular route there are places to rest at the wine table on the Place de Josefine, at a Wingerts swing and two sun loungers.
