On the quiet, clean natural beach Gold in the southwest of the island of Fehmarn, the first thing you will notice is the dune grass. A higher pedestrian and cycle path leads along the beach and isolated benches in the green grassy landscape invite you to linger. Gold is particularly popular with families with small children for holidays on the Baltic Sea, as the beige sand slopes very gently into the sea here, so that the crystal-clear, knee-deep water only gets deeper after several hundred meters. Another advantage of the shallow depth is that the water warms up faster during the day - making the natural beach on Fehmarn an all-round successful and safe place to play for the youngest. As part of the adjacent campsite, there are also playgrounds and children's entertainment nearby.

Since Gold is a natural beach, your four-legged friend is welcome on the entire beach. On the beach there is only one restaurant with a small kiosk. In addition to breakfast, you can also get snacks, coffee and cake here. The pretty garden of the restaurant also invites you to take a leisurely break.
