The village smithy in Görzig, a district of the Saxon town of Großenhain, is located in the north of the district of Meißen.
It was restored in 2014 and 2015 and returned to working order. All equipment and machines are in their original condition and are ready for use. The history of the village blacksmith's shop has been almost completely processed on the basis of documents and records that have been preserved.
