Place of pilgrimage for men on Ascension Day, services are held regularly very nice hiking trails through the forest, but also has a parking lot near the chapel

The Klüschen Hagis was built as the village church of the town of Neuenhagen below the castle of Gleichenstein between 1100 and 1300.
The place became deserted in the late Middle Ages. Only the church and the name Hagen remained.

Description on site:
if you look from the chapel to the big cross at the top of the mountain - a path goes up to the right into the forest. Follow the path uphill for a bit. There at the crossroads to the hiking trail is the stamp box.

This place had a mystical quality for us 🙈

The church was open, and you could go inside and light a candle 🕯️

To find the stamp box, we had to go up into the forest. It's located at the first signpost 😉
