    From the time-honored Guhwilmühle farm, a beautiful path leads through the wild and romantic Fahrenbachtobel down to Elgg.

      The Farenbachtobel is a nice gem on the way. At the upper end of the Tobel you can stop in the inn for Guhwil mill. At the bottom of the ravine, the path leads along a secluded, tree-lined pond.

          For those arriving by public transport: From the train station in Elgg it is barely 35 minutes on foot and through the village to the "entrance" to the Farenbachtobel. A really beautiful, secluded hike with a lovely, almost 500-year-old inn in the middle of the hike.
