The Dreieckgrube near Sandersdorf is a small former opencast mine west of Bitterfeld-Wolfen, which lies between the Förstergrube and the Hermine pit. The body of water is surrounded by forest, but with a sparse population, especially on the northern and eastern banks. There are also some shallow water areas near the shore, which are particularly suitable for fishing in the Dreieckgrube in spring. In some cases, you can drive directly to the water by car.

The Sandersdorf triangular pit has an area of around 4.1 hectares, making it the smallest lake in the Bitterfeld area near Saxony-Anhalt. It is located directly on the local border with Sandersdorf and is therefore easy to reach. Like the surrounding waters, it was created in the 1950s when this area was used as an opencast mine. Here, countless cubic tons of sand and gravel were mined for the construction of the A9 motorway and the surrounding federal highways B100, B183 and B184. Today it is a very popular fishing lake as it has a great diversity of species and is home to some very large varieties. But the beautiful lake is also perfect for naturist swimming.

This nudist beach at the Sandersdorf triangle pit in particular is a real hotspot for all naked sun worshipers from the area in the warm summer months. But the gay scene also loves to make itself comfortable here in its gay cruising area. The motto here is as follows: see and be seen. The lake itself or the adjacent embankments are also ideal for cruising.
