As one of the first identity-creating projects, the members of the association campaigned for the preservation and sustainable use of the castle guard house and its surroundings on the grounds of the municipal zoo.

In the first step of the construction work, the repairs to the roof and wood of the castle guard house were carried out in order to avert further damage.

For this we planned the implementation of the fountain next to the castle guard house in a westerly direction.

The resulting open space next to the castle guard house and in front of the ornamental fountain was paved with natural stone and a seating area set up there invites you to linger.
