In fact, the section in the direction of Bälau/Mölln is very easy to ride, as the profile tends to point downwards. Coming from Borstorf, you are heading towards a small forest. The street descends in three steps, almost like a staircase. In the forest area it is rather flat with an easily manageable upward trend and the route meanders through it in a beautifully varied way. Then the landscape opens up on the left and it starts to get bumpier: Short passages with 2-4 percent uphill and downhill sections alternate. It's so wonderful: the tribute you pay to the profile is immediately returned to you! Also ideal for short training intervals.
At the end of the route, please note that you may be driving at high speed from a lower section onto a priority road to Bälau. Timely stretching is the order of the day in order to assess the cars that may be approaching from the left and not to scare them away. If in doubt, slow down or turn around and tackle the whole thing again from the other side. ;-)
